For those who rather leave the car behind, there is absolutely no reason to use one in Zapallar. Anywhere in the village can be accessed on foot or by bike.

There is not only the beach of Zapallar, but also Cachagua, Maitencillo, Papudo, Laguna and more further afield to explore.

There are plenty of different sporting activities - with hikes to Isla Seca, Cerro la Cruz, the Siete Portones, there are trails into the hills for hikers or cyclists. For the more adventurous types, there are boat rides to Isla Penguinos, fishing and horseback rides into the hills where arrangements can be made for an asado.

Polo aficionados can both watch and play - the Club Ecuestre de Cachagua attracts both professional players and beginners alike.

For a more relaxed day there are beautiful little boutiques and cafes. For a little pampering, we can suggest massages or facial treatments at Astromelia Spa.

Trips to Valparaíso, an UNESCO Heritage Site, or Viña del Mar, can be organized.
